Having your child christened
A new baby is a major event in anyone’s life!
Here at Central, we celebrate the birth of children and each year
a number of families celebrate their baby’s birth at our church.
We offer two options to prospective families:
Baptism

Getting married
Central is available for the celebration of Christian
weddings. We are also able
to offer Marriage Blessings following a Civil Wedding.
Please contact the Secretary to discuss your individual requirements.
Saying goodbye
Darwen people have found Central Church to be an appropriate venue to
give thanks to God for the lives of their loved ones for many years.
We aim to offer a personal service to all families where the lives of
their loved ones can be honoured in a way appropriate to them.
As part of our ministry to our community, our rose garden at the
front of the church has been set aside as a place where cremated ashes
may be scattered. The names
of those whose funerals have taken place in our church or who have been
connected to our fellowship may be inscribed in our Book of Remembrance.
